Offline-first student attendance and midday nutrition audit application built to monitor and report operations across 18 rural primary schools in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
The Context
Auditing school attendance and nutrition metrics in rural Sylhet is crippled by poor power grid stability and spotty, slow mobile coverage.
Paper-based reporting introduced multi-week delays, making it impossible to spot and rectify nutrition supply bottlenecks in real-time.
What I built
- Offline SQLite storage. Designed a Flutter mobile app utilizing a local SQLite database to store audit payloads fully offline.
- Frictionless sync queue. Engineered a smart sync manager that queues records and automatically uploads payloads in small chunks once a stable cellular link is detected.
- Administrative audit. Structured a clean dashboard for administrators to monitor school metrics, ensuring nutrition funds are spent exactly where declared.
