My process

How a project actually starts.

However we engage, the first month looks roughly the same. Quiet, observational, then opinionated.

Week 1
Listen
Customer ride-alongs, internal interviews, a long walk through your codebase. No code yet, no opinions.
Week 2
A small, ugly thing
One painful workflow gets a 100-line internal tool. Earn trust by removing friction.
Weeks 3–6
The first PR that matters
Now I know your language. First production-grade work lands by week 6, measured against retention not output.
Month 3
Loop becomes mine
I own a customer cohort end-to-end. Weekly written reports. By month 3 you should be able to say what I changed.
