Asian Factory Tracker
Supply chain visibility and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking platform deployed across South Asian textile manufacturing exporters to track production lines in real-time.
The Context
Garment factories traditionally suffer from "black box" supply chains where delay sources are only spotted during final packing, leading to expensive air-freight penalties.
The management needed a granular tracking system to identify line bottlenecks in real-time without slowing down the fast-moving factory floor.
What I built
- WIP tracking grid. Engineered a responsive React interface mapping the real-time throughput of multiple factory production lines.
- Scanner integration. Connected barcode and RFID scanner APIs to log production handoffs instantly, feeding data to a Node/Mongo cluster.
- Predictive delay triggers. Coded automated alerts that warn floor managers when a specific line falls behind, protecting container shipment timelines.
