Applied to Meticulous

Exhaustive fit.Zero guesswork.

Meticulous is building the last piece of the AI code-generation puzzle — the part that makes it safe to ship. These are the fit dossiers for the roles I'm pursuing: point-by-point evidence, honest gaps, and an AI you can interrogate about any claim.

Application dossier

The role I applied for

Each dossier verifies the job spec point by point — requirements, archetypes, technical challenges, and the hard questions answered first.

Brand thesis

Why Meticulous.

Mission

To radically accelerate the pace of software development by empowering every engineer to ship at the speed their agents write code.

What they build

Meticulous is building the last piece of the AI code-generation puzzle — the part that makes it actually safe to ship. Its AI-powered testing platform monitors real user interactions via a lightweight script tag, builds a continuously evolving test suite covering every corner of an application, replays sessions deterministically across a parallelized browser cluster, and surfaces visual, behavioural and logical diffs on every PR — with zero test writing or maintenance. Engineers never write, fix or maintain a test again: the suite evolves as the app evolves.

Scale

Grown 5x year-on-year; trusted by the world's most AI-driven engineering teams — Notion, ElevenLabs, Dropbox, Discord, LaunchDarkly, Wiz, CoreWeave, Wealthsimple — scaling from millions of ARR toward $100M ARR. Backed by Y Combinator and Coatue, with individual investors including the founders of Vercel, Datadog, Segment and Dropbox, the CTO of GitHub, the CPO of Adobe, and the head of Engineering at Cursor.

Fauzul's impact thesis

Meticulous wants one of its first Forward Deployed Engineers to own customers end-to-end from London HQ — and its posting names Fauzul's archetype twice: the ex-founder who wants founder-energy with product-market fit behind it, and the solutions-architect type who wants more deep engineering and less PowerPoint. He lives the exact problem the product kills (his daily development is agent-led; verification, not generation, is his bottleneck), and he has run the FDE motion for a decade under founder titles — embedding in client codebases across nine geographies, establishing auditable testing practices inside Frontgo's repo, leading pilots with engineering leadership, and codifying ELO's delivery playbook while scaling 4 → 22. Honest ramp: Chromium internals and the deterministic replay engine — named openly, with browser-platform depth and a weeks-to-production learning record as the on-ramp. Relocating to London deliberately; ~25% US customer travel welcomed.
